Join Clario’s Client Training team as an Instructional Designer and play a key role in developing high-quality training materials for sponsors, CROs, site staff, and internal teams. Whether it's through on-demand eLearning, interactive virtual sessions, or live training, your work will help ensure the successful adoption of our innovative clinical solutions.

The Instructional Designer serves as a course developer and is responsible for assisting the Sr. Instructional Designer build and maintain a role-based curriculum of instructor-led, web-based, and eLearning courses that meet our customers’ training needs.  

This role involves all aspects of course development, including needs analysis, high level design, detail design, development, beta testing, finalization for production, and rollout.   


S/he interfaces with clients as well as project teams.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist the Manager in developing effective and efficient customer training processes and procedures

  • Training new and existing Clario staff on customer training delivery procedures and best practices

  • Training Content Development that facilitates gathering customer and site training requirements for all studies

  • Creates and coordinates the production of raw content to be used in the creation of eLearning. 

  • Collaborates closely with subject matter experts, management, and various cross-functional teams

  • Designs curriculum for specific training programs related to product, project, and protocol-specific training deliverables

  • Schedule and conduct trainings via web

  • Design and develop new technical product training courses for customers

  • Work with subject matter experts on course design and content

  • Manage activities surrounding needs assessment, design and preparation of technical training

  • Work with Engineering & Product Management to integrate new features/functionality into curriculums

  • Assist with creating and managing the technical training content repository

  • Assist with creating reproducible practices and processes to support new product launches and updates. 


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS NEEDED: 


What we look for: 


Education: 

Bachelor's degree or certification in human resources, education, business or area relevant to the clinical trial industry

Experience: 

  • Knowledge of eLearning solutions for software application training

  • 1-2 years of experience designing and developing technical course materials using proven instructional design methodologies

  • Experience in Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline 360, PowerPoint, understanding technical specifications

  • Experience developing content suited for multiple delivery channels (instructor-led, online virtual, and self-paced eLearning)

  • Ability to create and maintain multiple courses simultaneously

  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and deliver quality results in a time-sensitive environment

  • Strong training skills, i.e., able to determine appropriate training methodology based on identified needs

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent decision making, analytical and problem solving skills

  • Track record of cross functional collaboration

  • Demonstrated success managing complex projects from start to finish, and working effectively with external vendors as needed

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in creating and managing rapid training engagement processes, including adaptive training plans and timelines (preferred)

  • Experience in eLearning Instructional Design (ID) (preferred)

  • Knowledge of Pharmaceutical industry training methodologies (preferred)

  • Ability to learn technical products quickly using pre-release documentation and software (preferred)

  • Utilizing virtual delivery platforms such as Adobe Connect (preferred)

  • eLearning or training-related professional certifications (a plus)

  • Track record of implementing successful global programs (preferred)

  • eLearning development with Adobe eLearning Studio & Adobe Captivate (preferred)

  • Experience implementing Learning Management and Content Management solutions (preferred)

  • Proficient in course-authoring tools (Articulate Rise, Storyline 360, Captivate)

  • Knowledge in design tools: InDesign, Illustrator, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
