The opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Managing Editor to oversee content operations and audience growth for our B2B technology properties in the EMEA region. As a key editorial leader, you’ll work cross-functionally with writers, marketing, and sales to ensure high-quality content delivery, editorial consistency, and regional relevance. You’ll play a pivotal role in scaling our voice in the region while managing a strong bench of freelance contributors.

What you'll do
  • Content Strategy and Execution, Freelancer Management, Editing and Quality Assurance, Sales and Strategic Insight, Audience and SEO Growth.
  • Define and uphold editorial standards and guidelines that reflect both brand voice and EMEA regional nuance.
  • Own the EMEA content calendar across core verticals such as cybersecurity, SaaS, MarTech, AI, and cloud computing.
  • Identify content gaps and strategic opportunities based on market trends, keyword insights, and audience demand.
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage a growing bench of freelance writers, editors, and subject matter experts across EMEA.
  • Assign work, provide editorial feedback, and coach contributors to deliver consistently high-quality content.
  • Edit and QA all EMEA-aligned content for clarity, tone, structure, technical accuracy, SEO, and style.
  • Ensure content adheres to brand guidelines and regional standards, including UK/EU spelling, sourcing practices, and cultural context.
  • Join client and sales calls as an editorial representative to help scope and shape branded content initiatives.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to align editorial direction with demand generation goals and partner priorities.
  • Work with SEO, analytics, and digital teams to monitor content performance and optimize for engagement and lead generation.
  • Experiment with localized content formats—such as reports, webinars, or translated assets—to expand reach and relevance across EMEA.

 

Who you are
  • 5+ years of digital content editing or journalism experience, with a strong focus on B2B  or tech industry.
  • Proven experience managing writers and content operations, including editorial workflow planning and contributor oversight.
  • Deep understanding of SEO, editorial standards, and regional differences in content needs across EMEA markets.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working closely with marketing, sales, and analytics teams.
  • Detail-oriented editor with excellent judgment, strong writing skills, and a clear grasp of tone and technical accuracy.
  • Comfortable working across multiple countries and business cultures, and navigating regional nuances with empathy and precision.
  • Agile professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and thrives on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward.

Salary Range
We seek to hire top-tier individuals and intend for our compensation to be at a rate that allows us to recruit and retain individuals who align with our core values, purpose, mission, and vision. Final total compensation is based on a multitude of factors including, but not limited to, skill level, relevant experience to the position, and cost of labor.

Annual pay range
£50,000£70,000 GBP
