SCOPE:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Auto Claims Adjuster to join our dynamic claims team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving commercial auto claims in a prompt, fair, and cost-effective manner. This position requires expertise in handling complex commercial vehicle exposures, including fleets, heavy equipment, and business-use vehicles.
This position offers a remote work arrangement, allowing the ideal candidate to work from their preferred location within the South region.
This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced commercial Auto claims adjuster with Florida claims handling experience. 620 FL adjusters' license required
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Investigate, evaluate, and resolve commercial auto claims from first notice of loss to closure.
Analyze insurance policies to determine coverage and liability exposures.
Communicate effectively with insureds, claimants, attorneys, repair facilities, and other stakeholders.
Manage a caseload of moderate to complex commercial auto claims.
Conduct recorded statements, scene investigations, and coordinate with field adjusters or appraisers as needed.
Assess damages to vehicles, determine repair costs, and evaluate total loss values.
Identify and pursue subrogation opportunities and recognize potential fraud indicators.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the claims management system.
Provide timely and professional customer service throughout the claims process.
Stay current on industry regulations, case law, and best practices related to commercial auto claims.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience handling commercial auto claims.
Strong knowledge of auto policy language, commercial liability, and applicable state laws.
Proven negotiation and settlement skills.
Proficiency with claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
Active adjuster license in Florida. Texas, and/or Georgia.
Experience in handling claims in multiple jurisdictions.
Knowledge of trucking, fleet, or livery exposures.
Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
