Job description

Here’s the Snapshot:

We are seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead all forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance initiatives. This role requires a strategic and analytical thinker with a deep understanding of financial modeling, margin and cross driver analysis, and cash flow forecasting. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can translate complex financial data into actionable insights and partner cross-functionally to support decision-making across the organization.

  • Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and drive growth.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support long-term planning and scenario analysis.
  • Design and build scalable tools, templates, and dashboards that empower business partners to access, understand, and act on financial data independently.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Leverage automation and technology to streamline planning processes and reduce manual work.
  • Drive adoption of financial tools by training stakeholders and incorporating feedback to enhance usability and clarity.
  • Mentor and develop the FP&A team to enhance their skills and capabilities, with an emphasis on data fluency and tool development

What you bring to the team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive FP&A experience, including at least 3 years in leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial forecasting, budgeting, cash flow modeling, and margin/cost driver analysis.
  • Advanced Excel, strong PowerPoint, Salesforce, Slack
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to design and implement scalable financial tools, dashboards, and reporting templates used across departments.

Nice to Have:

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence and data visualization tools.
  • Experience in the healthcare or staffing industry.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

What else?

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds occasionally.
  • This is a remote position. Must have reliable Wi-Fi.
  • Some evening and weekend work hours may be needed on occasion.
