Note: This is a 3 month contract. While we will consider candidates outside of the Bay Area, preference will be given to individuals who can work in person at our San Francisco office (HQ) Tuesday and Wednesday on a weekly basis.

The Impact You’ll Make

As a recruiter on the Business Recruiting Team, you’ll partner closely with leaders, hiring managers, People Team stakeholders, and colleagues across the company in order to drive GTM and G&A hiring forward. You will be a critical partner in building teams and to the overall success of Nextdoor. You should be excited to bring your experience and expertise every day in order to have the following impact:  

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Managing full-cycle recruitment for a a range of non-technical positions with GTM and Sales functions being the highest priority
  • Working cross-functionally with hiring managers and stakeholders to assess recruiting needs, and understand job requirements
  • Building pipelines of qualified, high-caliber candidates using sourcing strategies, evaluate candidate experience, qualifications, and alignment with employment opportunities at Nextdoor
  • Delivering a great candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Tracking candidates through our ATS (Greenhouse) and leverage reporting capabilities to refine our approach to pipeline development
  • Utilizing a data-driven approach to analyze, track, and communicate key hiring metrics 
  • Participating in in-person Nextdoor events such as trainings, off-sites, volunteer days, and team building exercises
  • Building in-person relationships with team members and contribute to Nextdoor’s company culture
What You’ll Bring To The Team
  • 5+ years of business recruiting with GTM / Sales as a functional area of expertise
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships with different types of stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills: written, oral, in-person, and on the phone
  • Efficiency and data-driven mindset: learns quickly, has the ability to triage pipeline data to uncover trends, and be able to pivot sourcing strategies as needed
  • Leads by example: inclusive, collaborative, self-directed, and highly motivated with a sense of urgency, and has strong organizational skills
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Passion for the Nextdoor’s mission and company values
  • Bonus points for experience with Ad sales / Ad Platform sales
  • Eagerness to explore and apply AI and emerging technologies to reimagine how work gets done
Rewards

The hourly wage for this role is expected to range from $55 to $65 per hour.
