Job description

GrowthAssistant is looking for a Paid Ads Specialist (Meta and Google) for our growth marketing team. This teammate will launch and optimize Meta and Google Ads campaigns through A/B testing and performance tracking using key metrics. Collaborate with teams to report results, share insights, and support creative updates.

Core Tasks:

  • Launch new Meta ad campaigns from scratch; A/B testing of ads and ad sets to determine what is and is not successful to drive business results
  • Develop and execute marketing ad campaigns strategies across platforms like Meta and Google Ads.
  • Analyze campaign data and trends to generate actionable insights and optimizations from ROAS, LTV:CAC, CPA, CTR, CPM and communicate clearly to internal stakeholders.
  • Optimize Meta & Google campaigns based on data trends from ROAS, CTR, CPM, etc.
  • Run & optimize Google ad campaigns for: (Choose: Search, Display, Performance Max (PMax), Shopping, Video, others)
  • Identify , track, and flag common Meta & Google ads challenges
  • Build Excel or Google Sheets reports utilizing advanced formulas, functions, graphs, charts, and pivot tables for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to the client
  • Support regular creative testing of new ad copy and assets based on new products or services
  • Utilize keyword research and search term reports in line with SEM best practices to optimize keywords across platforms
  • Collect ads content, assets, and copy from cross-functional marketing teams
  • Utilize instant messaging, video-calls, email, and project management software to communicate proactively and consistently in collaboration with agency team stakeholders
  • Help with competitor analysis
Must Have:
  • 3+ years of Meta ads experience to set up and optimize ad campaigns based on client direction and data thresholds
  • 1 year of Google ads experience with (Choose: Search, Display, Performance Max (PMax), Shopping, Video, others)
  • Understanding of and experience calculating ROAS, CTR, CPM, and other paid media metrics and KPIs
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, remote agency role across multiple accounts.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Excel/Sheets, Looker, or similar BI platforms.
  • Intermediate - advanced Google Sheets to show paid media trends in real time, and over time across campaigns (Pivot Tables, and graphing, V Lookup ups
  • Experience monitoring budget pacing & ad spend budgets per day, week, and month
  • Proficiency in fluent English written and verbal communication
  • Proactive daily communication through Slack/IM, email, and video calls
  • High accountability is a must
  • Proven success partnering with U.S. based clients in past roles
  • Ability to work US time zones​​​​​​​
Nice-to-Have:
  • Experience in agency
  • Experience with TikTok Ads
  • Experience working with MMPs (e.g., Appsflyer, Adjust) and understanding of attribution frameworks (SKAN, GA4, etc.).
  • Experience with creative intelligence tools Meta Ad Library, TikTok Ads Library, Foreplay, MagicBrief etc or competitive intelligence tools like SensorTower, Data.ai, SimilarWeb, SEMRush, SpyFu.​​​​​​​
