This key front-line sales role reports into the channel sales director and up through the channel sales organization. Responsible for supporting the key sales functions and growth goals for a geographical region of LA, TX, OK, MO, AR, KS
Responsibilities:
Work with assigned partners to generate prospective customers through channel campaigns and channel promotions.
Work to acquire new partners in territory
Provide marketing/sales literature to partners with prospective clients, assist with sales quoting and special pricing.
Respond to partner requests and ensure proper field and inside sales alignment in partner end user opportunities
Track/monitor /support partner pipeline.
Provide marketing/sales literature to named accounts and respond to channel inquiries regarding product, channel programs and channel promotions.
Responds to questions and complaints, communicates with partners, handles service problems politely and efficiently, follows procedure to solve partner problems, understands company products and services, maintains pleasant and professional image
Desired Skills and Experience
Sales experience within software industry
Channel experience with a Distributor and/or Channel vendor.
Computer experience, familiarity with Microsoft Office and web based tracking tools
Experience working with Salesforce highly desired
Able to quickly qualify potential customers
Proven ability to follow through and close deals
Strong telephone presentations skills; ability to listen well and to motivate and create sales opportunities
Individual should be comfortable selling over the phone with responsibilities of accurate forecasting
Strong ability to work in a team environment
Travel Requirements: Can be up to 30%
