You in a nutshell:
You are an experienced Backend Engineer with a strong background in NodeJS, eager to leverage your skills in a dynamic startup environment. Your passion for high-paced, high-autonomy, and high-ownership settings drives you to excel and innovate continuously. In this role, you'll collaborate with a talented team of engineers to deliver the next stage of innovation for Rauva. Your dedication to excellence, proactive problem-solving, and commitment to pushing the boundaries of what's possible will make you a perfect fit for our ambitious journey.

What's the role:
As a Backend Engineer specializing in API development with NodeJS, you'll design, build, and maintain robust APIs using serverless functions and AWS Lambdas. You'll work with relational databases and integrate with third-party providers to enhance our platform. Experience with different types of NodeJS APIs and large-scale systems is highly appreciated. Your expertise will be key in delivering a reliable, innovative backend infrastructure that supports our ambitious growth.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and implement state of the art APIs

• Have ownership of apps and services

• Impact the development of high quality software in your team

• Ensure the quality of the deliverables through testing

• Participate in technical choices for Rauva’s products.

What’s your ideal background?

• At least 3 years of experience in API development using NodeJS and Typescript

• Experience in building high quality software through the usage of testing

• Experience with CI/CD

• Experience with different types of testing (Unit, Integration) using Jest

• Experience with AWS is appreciated
