POSITION PURPOSE

This role involves managing the commercial sales funnel, including targeting, tracking, reporting, and KPI analysis, with a focus on organization and customer service. Responsibilities include administering CRM, conducting sales forecasts through data analysis, monitoring inventory and back-orders accurately, and leveraging product distribution data to identify trends. The role also involves handling various stakeholder requests such as contracting, pricing, and purchase orders, developing strategies for targeting accounts and surgeons, and understanding contract types. Additionally, the position requires creating territory analytics to support sales growth, generating reports using business intelligence tools like SAP Business Objects and Power BI, and performing other assigned duties.


 RESPONSABILITIES

  • Leads commercial funnel management, targeting, and tracking including reporting and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with a high level of organization and customer service. 
  • Administers customer management relationship (CRM) for the business unit.
  • Leads monthly and long-range forecasting processes by providing data analysis. 
  • Manage inventory-on-hand analysis and back-order monitoring with a high level of accuracy.
  • Utilizes knowledge of full assigned company portfolio to facilitate field-generated inquiries. 
  • Research and evaluate past product distribution data to establish trending surgical application data for assigned products. 
  • Completes day-to-day ad hoc requests from stakeholders, including contracting, pricing quotes, approvals, reporting, and consignment or Temp Purchase Orders (POs) 
  • Creates target account or target surgeon methodology for new products and product conversions 
  • Understands and assists in various contract types, including pricing, consignment, and distribution.    
  • Creates a territory analytics methodology to help direct sales territory growth including incorporating outside data sources.  
  • Creates and manages various types of ad hoc reports from business intelligence systems, including SAP Business Objects and Microsoft Power BI 
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, industrial engineering, or related field. 
  • 4+ years of commercial, sales, or sales support experience.   
  • Additional experience may substitute for education requirements. 
  • Move or lift objects up to 25 pounds.
  • Frequent (>75%) stationary position (standing or sitting) while utilizing digital displays.
  • Frequent (>75%) fine manipulation using hands and fingers (typing, opening, writing, clicking, paper sorting, etc.).

 

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation 
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM)  
  • Business Intelligence (BI) software and reporting 
  • Microsoft Office Suite, advanced Excel skills 
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
