Associate, Corporate Credit Risk Management, China

Country: China

                                                                                                               

Support Risk Managers and/or manage credit risk for Chinese large corporates. This includes corporate rating assessment, credit analysis, business plan and transaction assessment and recommendation in cooperation with bankers and business lines.  The role also involves presenting to, discussing and defending customers and transactions with Headquarters in Europe.

Key Responsibilities                                                                                           

                

Rating Assessment Analyse financial profile and operating performance, assess& prepare corporate’s rating, and manage the rating validation process.

Risk Approval In cooperation with bankers, manage the approval process for group limit, local facilities and transactions. This includes assessment of the deliverability and suitability of the business plan, structure, conditions, risk mitigation and making recommendation, as appropriate.

Portfolio Monitoring Post-approval monitoring of transactions and lines, control of global exposure, facility utilization and early alert information as well as rating update.

Requirements                                                                                                           

1. University degree or equivalent is required.

2. Around 5-year experience in banking industry or 3-year of risk management experience including credit risk analysis, business case evaluation, approval process experience

3. Knowledge on China market and business environment

4. Knowledge on bank products including trade finance and debt capital market products  

5. Good English (both speaking & writing) required; Spanish is a plus 6. Presentation and communication skills are highly valued

7. Team spirit, capability of working under pressure and multi-tasking
