Job title: Senior Account Manager, Priority Payables
Reports to:  Manager, Relationship Sales
Department: Plastiq
Location: Remote
Grade: 18

About Priority:

Priority Technology Holdings, Inc. is a leading financial technology company on a mission to deliver a personalized, easy-to-adopt financial toolset that accelerates cash flow and optimizes working capital for businesses. Our vision is to eliminate the barriers to unlocking revenue - empowering businesses to grow faster and operate smarter.

We achieve this through the Priority Commerce Engine, an innovative platform that combines payables, acquiring, and banking and treasury solutions. This unified approach allows businesses to streamline financial operations, reduce unnecessary costs, and uncover new revenue opportunities.

At Priority, we're driven by results. We expect our people to be known for results - bringing expertise, momentum, and relentless focus to every challenge, helping our clients and each other thrive.

About the Role:

The Senior Account Manager role is pivotal in strengthening and expanding Priority Technology Holdings' relationships with our existing Priority Payables customers and partners, particularly our working capital tool, Plastiq. You'll be responsible for ensuring their smooth onboarding, continued success and identifying strategic opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic and trusted onboarding rep and advisor, driving results for a portfolio of mid-market to enterprise clients.
  • Understand clients' executive priorities and identify opportunities where Priority's products and services can deliver incremental value.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Marketing to ensure successful deployments lead to sustained customer value.
  • Analyze, monitor, and interpret account performance.
  • Improve internal business processes to enhance the customer experience.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Share external feedback with Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to inform product development.
  • Stay current with industry trends and develop a deep understanding of Payables customers and competitors.
  • Provide content and thought leadership to support sales and close deals.
  • Maintain timely and accurate records in Salesforce (within 1-2 business days) for all customer communications (emails, calls, texts).
  • Represent Priority at industry events.

What Success Looks Like:

Success as a Senior Account Manager typically revolves around a combination of client satisfaction, revenue growth, strategic leadership, and strong internal collaboration.

  • Acts as a trusted advisor to clients, not just a vendor.
  • Maintains long-term partnerships with key clients.
  • Aligns client goals with company offerings.
  • Leads strategic planning for accounts to ensure long-term growth.

Candidate Requirements:

Required

  • 10 years of experience in Customer Success, Relationship Management, Operations, Consulting, or a related field, with a focus on mid-market and enterprise clients.
  • Deep understanding of treasury and financial operations.
  • Strong business acumen to assess client needs and drive outcomes.

  • Excellent collaboration skills.

  • Executive presence and strong communication skills.

  • Proactive in improving existing tools and processes, and skilled at solving complex problems requiring executive-level thinking.

  • Proven success in fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly changing environments.

  • Willingness and ability to travel.

Preferred

  • Experience with complex technologies; payments/Fintech experience highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.

  • Undergraduate Degree.
