Job Overview:

Vice President (VP), IAS Consulting, LPL Business Solutions, is responsible for the strategy, business development, adoption, and utilization of LPL's suite of Business Solutions with a focus within the Independent Advisor channel at LPL. The VP will work directly with LPL Financial advisors, enterprises, and prospects. The VP is responsible for partnering with internal stakeholders to execute and drive results.  

Responsibilities:

  • Creating and maintaining a positive culture that values high performance, collaboration, transparency and talent development

  • Provide sales support, strategy, and tactics to increase adoption and growth of sales to internal stakeholders including but not limited to:

    • Client Success

    • Relationship Management

    • Business Development

    • Growth Solutions

    • Corporate Strategy

    • Service and Operations

    • Product Delivery and Management

    • Marketing and Product/Platform Management

  • Provide field facing engagement through territory in field engagements and LPL Conferences.  Partner with internal/external stakeholders for high profile and executive level engagements.

  • Examine trends, develop insights, and create solutions to better support advisors and stakeholders.

  • Achieve budget goals to ensure that departmental and organizational objectives are met and are in line with the needs and mission of the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Ability to travel up to 25%

  • 7+ years experience in the financial services industry

  • 5+ years experience in external field sales

  • Strong understanding of sales principles and practices, with a track record of achieving sales targets

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role

Preferences:

  • Deep understanding of the competitive financial services landscape, with a point of view on how investing in embedded services can create mutually beneficial outcomes for advisors and their firms.

  • Proven ability to coach and develop talent while also attracting additional high-quality talent to support growth

  • Experience consulting and understanding challenges/opportunities of small business owners, Enterprises, RIAs, and Large Enterprises Groups. 

  • Strong presentation skills, experience and comfort working with financial advisors and escalated issues.

  • Strong relationship and people management skills.

  • Strong communication skills, time and priority management.

Pay Range:

$179,200.00-$298,700.00/year


 

The pay salary range is inclusive of base salary and potential sales incentive compensation based upon the applicable incentive compensation plan for this position. Base salary is determined on several factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. Incentive compensation is dependent on achievement of goals set forth in the incentive compensation plan.
