What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Director of Talent and Organizational Development, this is an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent organizational and communication skills, with a keen insight and passion for talent management. The incumbent will be a member of the HR team with responsibility for supporting effective delivery of CLS’s talent management agenda. This role will have responsibility for managing and coordinating the end-to-end talent management timeline and provide updates, meeting minutes and follow-ups to HR stakeholders. The role will partner closely with the Director of Talent and the HR business partners to coordinate materials and data for key talent management programs (e.g. Promotions, Succession Management, etc.). The role will also support with administration and coordination of learning and leadership development programming.

  • Manage end-to-end talent management timeline, keep up to date, proactively communicate with stakeholders and track actions.
  • Provide coordination and support for key talent processes including Promotions, Succession Planning, Talent Reviews, etc.
  • Responsible for updates to procedural and job aide documents for talent processes.
  • Maintain and update competency documents and resources and manage communications and initiatives to bring these to life for the business.
  • Support with training coordination, scheduling and attendance management.
  • Responsible for coordination and administration of leadership 360s including stakeholder management with participating leaders.
  • Manage participation and communication for mentorship program.
  • Support with delivery of internal information sessions and new manager orientation sessions.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in HR, Talent and OD or related fields
  • Experience managing and coordinating project timelines and tasks across various workstreams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Stakeholder management mindset with ability to communicate proactively to various stakeholders
  • Action oriented- self-starter, takes on new challenges with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm
  • Collaborative- partners through proactive communication with stakeholders; able to influence without authority
  • Extremely proficient with MS Office Suite and related program software
  • Innovative - develops engaging and innovative solutions to talent and OD issues
  • Experience working with/administering a learning management system
  • Experience coordinating training within an organizational context
  • Knowledge of key talent management & OD models and industry trends
  • Ability to research and evaluate training options and alternatives

Professional qualifications / certifications

  • HR certification a plus but not essential.
