Job description

We’re looking for a highly skilled Workday Expert to support, configure, and continuously improve our Workday platform—focusing on Core HR, Performance Management, Workforce Planning, Recruitment and System Integration. You’ll work closely with HR, IT, Payroll, and other key stakeholders to enhance functionality, troubleshoot issues, and meet evolving business needs.

You’ll bring both strategic insight and hands-on technical expertise, ensuring we make the most of Workday’s capabilities to improve business processes, elevate the employee experience, and support organizational growth.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) across key Workday modules, including Core HCM, Performance Management, Workforce Planning, Recruitment and Integrations.
  • Lead or support configuration, testing, deployment, and maintenance of Workday functionalities — especially for onboarding/offboarding, goal setting, performance reviews, calibration processes, and workforce planning.
  • Provide day-to-day production support, including issue triage, root cause analysis, and resolution.
  • Collaborate with IT and functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Workday with other systems.
  • Monitor Workday’s Feature Releases and Weekly Patches, recommending and implementing relevant enhancements in partnership with functional owners.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for system and process optimization to align with business goals.
  • Create and maintain user documentation, training materials, and support resources to empower HR and business users.
  • Offer expert guidance and consulting to stakeholders on best practices, system capabilities, and scalable configurations.
  • Support system governance through structured documentation, change tracking, and quality assurance.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting enterprise HCM systems—preferably Workday—in large or global organizations.
  • Proven expertise in Workday Core HCM, Performance Management, Workforce Planning, Recruitment and Integrations.
  • Experience with end-to-end Workday configuration, including system design, testing, and deployment.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and their translation into system workflows.
  • Skilled in capturing user requirements, documenting business processes, and delivering user training.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Workday certification(s) are a plus.
