Position Summary

NBA Latam is seeking highly organized and execution-focused Coordinating Producer to join our content team. Based in Sao Paulo, this professional will be working for the NBA in the Latin America Region with a main focus on the Brazilian market. This role is critical in the coordination and delivery of original and localized content, ensuring every project meets the creative, operational, and brand standards of the NBA.

 

This position will provide digital content & production support for the NBA Content Production initiatives focused on the Brazilian audience. They will be responsible for the coordination, creation and distribution of original content in Portuguese for different audiences, in any NBA platform. The position also must collaborate with the team based in Mexico City for the Content Production in Spanish to be distributed in different markets in Latin America.

 

The ideal candidate has strong production experience and is comfortable managing all stages of the content creation process — from pre-production to final delivery — and overseeing content production companies and third-party vendors. The role requires close collaboration with multiple internal departments, including marketing, social media, partnerships, media, legal, other regions, and global.

 

 

 

Major Responsibilities

 

  • Coordinate and oversee the execution of video content projects across digital, social, broadcast, and special event platforms.
  • Search across NBA archive systems for game footage or global finished content to utilize locally
  • Supervise all stages of production—pre-production, shoots, and post-production—ensuring that projects meet timelines and adhere to NBA quality standards.
  • Coordinate production logistics, including location scouting, permits, contracts, and travel, in collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Support both live and pre-recorded event coverage, which includes games, activations, interviews, and other events.
  • Support translation, sub-titling, graphic modifications and re-voicing of existing content
  • Fulfilling licensees’ requests for additional content
  • Help to develop and test new content ideas
  • Ensure that content is culturally relevant and aligns with strategic and brand guidelines.
  • Ensure proper usage of NBA brand assets and maintain content standards across all platforms.

 

 

Required Skills/Knowledge

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital content production
  • Digital publishing & social publishing experience for a brand or business
  • Must be knowledgeable about the NBA, players & teams, and how content can be localized for respective markets
  • Willingness to explore new ways to create & publish content to grow the NBA’s local audience.
  • Proven experience managing production companies and third-party vendors.
  • Deep understanding of production workflows, post-production, technical specs, and deliverables.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Must have strong writing, communication skills, as well as the ability to execute editorial judgment
  • Ability to work on a deadline and handle multiple tasks
  • Flexibility in work schedule is required (i.e nights & weekends)
  • Must be fluent in English. Advanced Spanish proficiency is a plus
  • Must know existing social media platforms – from best practices in publishing content to understanding of relevant metrics
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Work in the sports or media industry is a plus

 

Salary Range: MXN 700,000 - 900,000
