Who you are   

 

A proactive and independent information technology presales Solutions Engineer, who will use critical thinking to align enterprise-wide technology with business strategy and operational processes for our clients including but not limited to all private and hybrid cloud hosting, cloud migration support, client network functions, connectivity, help desk, performance monitoring, data security, disaster recovery, telecommunications systems, website, intranet/internet security and performance.  

You know how to: 

 

  • Consult on the sale, design, and delivery of IT products and solutions for projects including but not limited to, infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, and IT managed service plans.
  • Assess clients' IT environments and confidently articulate recommendations in an illustrative manner to current and prospective clients.  
  • Educate the internal and external customers on best IT practices and IT solution capabilities.  
  • Develop detailed functional specifications, design documents, and test plans including Statement of Work and Bill of Materials 
  • Create budgets that map to the client or prospective clients’ budget, IT, and business goals.  
  • Analyze, prepare, and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) for each client in your assigned portfolio.  
  • Participate with the sales team on early-stage prospect interactions.  
  • Work cross-functionally with internal and external customers to define and execute deliverables. 
  • Partner with the Client Executives, Account Managers, Sales Operations, and field staff to deliver excellent service to current and prospective clients.
  • Ensure ongoing satisfaction with the solutions and products that were articulated during the sales and onboarding process. 
  • Work in a fast-paced Managed IT Services environment working on multiple, concurrent client proposals.

 

You have presales skills in the following technologies: 

 

  • Microsoft-based servers and workstations 
  • Active Directory 
  • MS Office 365  
  • Network firewalls and managed switches 
  • SAN Administration 
  • Switching and routing 
  • Backup and disaster recovery solutions 
  • Cloud-based technologies 
  • Virtualization technologies 

 

 

Pay and Benefits 

   

This is a full-time position located in the United States and performed remotely with some travel.   

 

Estimated Starting Salary/Wage Range: $115,000.00 - $120,000.00 annually, less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a semi-monthly basis(The actual salary offered may vary based on relevant factors as determined in the Company’s discretion, which may include experience, qualifications, tenure [for existing employees]skill set, availability of qualified candidates, geographic location, certifications held, and other criteria deemed pertinent to the particular role.  Note that the majority of individuals in the position will fall in the low to mid-level of this scale; the upper end of this pay scale is offered only in exceptional circumstances and/or for unusually qualified candidates.)    

 


The expected commission for this role is ~$30,000.00 to $40,000.00
