This is a remote position, but you must be in the NJ or PA region to attend meetings in our Hamilton, NJ office.

Location: Hamilton NJ
 Hybrid position. Once a month in Hamilton NJ office


The Pre-Certification Coordinator receives requests for medical services from the treating healthcare provider’s office. The request is reviewed to ensure all necessary information is received; required data is entered into Medlogix® software for the Pre-Certification Nurse to review. The Pre-Cert Coordinator will also respond to telephone inquiries regarding automobile claims.

Skills:

  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Strong typing skills; 10-key entry a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including rules of composition and grammar
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently handling multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated work ethic and reliability
  • Microsoft Office / Windows Software

Experience

  • 1 year of Data Entry experience
  • 1 year of Customer Service experience
  • 1 year of Medical administration experience

Preferred, not Required Experience

  • Medical Claim Processing
  • Medical Billing
  • 10 Key Calculator
  • Spanish speaking a plus

Education:

  • High school or equivalent
