Job description

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Proposal Specialist to join our dynamic team at Cennox. In this role, you will support the proposal development process, assisting in the creation of high-quality proposal submissions that effectively communicate our solutions to prospective clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and formatting of proposals, ensuring compliance with client requirements and company standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and input necessary for proposal development
  • Maintain and update proposal templates and content libraries
  • Review and proofread proposals for accuracy, clarity, and consistency
  • Support the sales team in achieving targets by providing administrative assistance.
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales data in our CRM system

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:

  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • 2+ years in sales administration or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint a must) and CRM software.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities.

Preferred:

  • Associate’s degree in business, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in B2B sales process.
  • Sales proposal/presentation generation experience.

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

Soft Skills and Cultural Fit

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team-oriented environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn
