Major Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

Develops, implements, and manages engineering projects to improve the manufacturing operations and processes.
Prepares cost estimates for new items needed for production and new or modified tooling.
Selects manufacturing equipment and tooling, prepares specifications, confers with vendors and procurement services, then prepares capital appropriations and/or procurement.
Advises Manager, Engineering of plant equipment needs.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or Manufacturing Engineering
Must be capable and have drawing experience with AutoCad and 3D Modeling software such as Solid Works
CNC or 3D printing experience is a plus
