CARPENTER

Permanent Full-Time Day Shift (7:00-15:30)

Coquitlam School District invites applications from individuals for the position of Carpenter. As the third largest school district in the province, we are located within a 40-minute drive from downtown Vancouver. The school district has a population of 34,000 students with approximately 4400 teaching, administrative, managerial and support staff.

This position reports to the Assistant Director of Operations and the Trades Supervisor and is responsible for completing carpentry tasks with minimum supervision.

Required Knowledge And Skills

Red Seal Ticket as a Carpenter or Cabinet Maker (Joiner) including a Certificate of Apprenticeship
A valid B.C. class 5 driver's license.

We offer an attractive benefit package which includes MSP, life insurance, extended health, dental, pension, and a long-term disability plan. Currently salary $41.50/hour 40 hours a week.
