Summary Statement

Shape the future of exoskeletons with us – at the intersection of market and development!
SUITX by Ottobock is an innovative part of Ottobock, specializing in the development and application of modern exoskeletons. To support international market expansion and the continuous development of our products, we are looking for you as a Product Market Specialist (f/m/x) – the key link between market, users, and development.

In this role, you will ensure that our product development is always closely aligned with market needs and user expectations. You will combine biomechanical concepts with clinical and scientific insights and practical user experience, bringing these elements into our hardware and software development processes in a structured way. This is not a traditional engineering role, but an interdisciplinary position with strong connections to customers, studies, and product validation – with a global reach, particularly focused on the EU and US markets.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Analyze clinical, ergonomic, and market-related requirements and translate them into technical specifications for our hardware and software development teams

  • Coordinate and support real-life application testing of early-stage products and concepts

  • Assist in planning, conducting, and evaluating product studies and validation projects – in collaboration with internal and external partners

  • Collect structured user feedback and translate it into concrete improvement proposals for product development

  • Work closely with international colleagues in development, sales, and marketing – acting as a central interface between these departments

  • Monitor global market trends (with a focus on medical technology and ergonomics) and observe competitors to provide fresh ideas and impulses for our product strategy

Qualifications
  • You hold a degree in a scientific or technical field – e.g., Biology, Medical Technology, Ergonomics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline

  • You have initial experience supporting clinical studies or product tests – ideally in a medical or technical context

  • You have a solid understanding of both hardware and software products – without being a developer yourself; an engineering background is welcome and beneficial

  • You communicate confidently in both German and English and enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration

  • You work in a structured, solution-oriented, and hands-on manner – always focused on user needs

  • You are open to international travel for tests, studies, or customer visits

  •
Benefits
  • A start-up-like work environment within a new business unit at Ottobock

  • A strong and passionate team dedicated to improving working conditions for people in physically demanding environments

  • Take on responsibility from day one – with a high degree of creative freedom and implementation power

  • Flexible, agile, and remote working options are part of our everyday culture

  • An attractive salary package

  • Individual support and development through the Ottobock Academy as well as external training opportunities

  • Company pension plan, capital-forming benefits, health management offerings, and many other benefits waiting for you at Ottobock
