A BIM Application Specialist is a hands-on technical contributor responsible for supporting the development, automation, and integration of BIM workflows across architecture, engineering, construction and design teams within WD. This position assists in building tools, automating repetitive tasks, and enhancing data inter-operability across platforms such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

You will work closely with WD Associates in India and the US, including our BIM Managers, to contribute to the design and execution of BIM automation projects. This role is ideal for a technically skilled individual with experience in BIM tools and a desire to grow in software development, data integration, and digital transformation within the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry.

Location: We are open to hiring for remote work from any location in India.

Schedule: Our work hours are Monday - Friday, 10AM - 7PM. No weekend work hours.

Necessary Experience:

  • Bachelor's in Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
  • Prior experience using Autodesk Revit in a production or technical environment
  • Prior experience with Revit API development, scripting or tool customization
  • Experience working with Python, JavaScript, and JSON in a BIM or Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC) setting
  • Familiar with consuming web API's (REST, GraphQL, etc.) for data integration
  • Experience with Dynamo, Grasshopper, Power BI or other data visualization tools, is preferred
  • Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Autodesk Platform Services (Forge) and/or Autodesk API's is preferred
  • Experience with AutoLISP routines - C# and .NET for plugin development - is preferred
  • Eagerness to learn and a curious mind for building connections both technically and within WD teams is necessary
