PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Systems Engineer – Corporate Systems & Cloud Infrastructure is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise systems across both on-premises datacenters and cloud environments. This role will play a key part in modernizing infrastructure, supporting hypervisors such as SCALE, Hyper-V, or similar, and contributing to the development and execution of a cloud adoption strategy aligned with a “cloud smart” approach.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure systems in both on-prem and cloud environments (Azure).
Support and manage hypervisors including SCALE, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms.
Implement and maintain hyperconverged infrastructure solutions.
Administer and optimize Windows Server environments and Microsoft 365 services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute a cloud adoption and migration strategy.
Ensure high availability, performance, and security of corporate systems.
Manage and monitor backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across hybrid environments.
Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure roles.
Hands-on experience with SCALE, Hyper-V, or other hypervisor technologies.
Strong understanding of hyperconverged infrastructure solutions.
Proficiency in Windows Server administration and Microsoft 365.
Experience with Azure cloud services and hybrid cloud environments.
Proven ability to contribute to cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

JOB LOCATION:

The position is remote, with occasional travel to IEM facilities as needed.
