REMOTE

Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
Construct and maintain documentation, workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements
Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
Analyze Business Processes, and Infra Landscape along with BU, IT teams etc. to help develop target model of IT Infra architecture for the acquired entity
Run Discovery workshops with Teams from Acquired Entity to collect and analyze information about IT Infra / applications, interfaces between systems, data models etc., for key decisions on migration approach and plan
Document key business requirements, and project deliverables for all SDLC phases.
Develop process flows and diagrams on integration/IT Infra migration approach using Charting software (i.e. Visio, PPT, etc.)
Determine and define project scope and objectives for IT Infra Integration of acquired entity to Cognizant IT Infra & Systems
Work with the Architect and Cognizant Infra team to develop target IT Infra / Systems architecture for the acquired entity
Run workshops and coordinate with other teams to plan and progress activities in IT Infra discovery and migration and mitigation plans as applicable
Develop technical guides, communications and IT Job Aids / presentations
Develop standard communication plan and associated templates to ensure technical integration activities are easily understood and consumed by end user community.
Work with IT M&A team for technology proposal presentation and documents
Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
Excellent communication, analytical skills, organization and time-management
Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio tools

Skills/experience specific to this position:

Minimum of 5+ years' as Business Analyst in IT Infrastructure landscape and project management experience.
Understanding of IT infrastructure technologies and concepts
Ability to work in rapid change and fast-paced environment.
Ability to lead, mentor, and direct project work with a highly matrixed project team.
Understanding of ITIL best practices
