Step into a role where your resilience and compassion are key to your success. As a Case Manager, your primary goal is to support workers who have experienced workplace injuries, guiding them on their journey back to health and facilitating their safe turn to work. You will play a crucial role in keeping all stakeholders informed throughout the claims process, offering guidance and support to help them navigate the process with clarity and confidence.

   

About the role

  • Build effective working relationships with workers, rehab providers, government agencies, legal providers, and medical professionals to drive successful outcomes.
  • Make key liability decisions and assess claims for reasonable and necessary treatment.
  • Assess and manage injury needs, handle correspondence regarding workers compensation benefits, treatment, rehabilitation, and interpret medical reports.
  • Provide timely and effective responses to customer needs and ensure accurate processing of claims.
  • Accurately calculate benefits and apply relevant legislative rules and timeframes in managing benefits.

 

About you

  • Extensive experience working as part of a highly resilient team.
  • Experience in a comparable industry or case management experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong drive and interest in leveraging your customer-focused experience to grow a career in case management.
  • Known for your empathetic style and customer-focused approach, allowing you to ‘walk beside our customers.’
  • Ability to handle difficult situations professionally while resolving complex issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, providing advice and guidance to other team members.
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
