Job description

Baron Weather is looking for a highly motivated Business Development Representative eager and excited to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an energetic, can-do attitude and be comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment.

For more than 30 years, the company based in Huntsville, AL, has developed life-saving weather technology. Our suite of products includes weather radars, weather data, software for display and storm tracking, and data delivery systems that ensure everyone has access to timely weather information.

Duties/Responsibilities:

    Prospect into strategic business accounts via cold calls, email, and social strategies

    Drive sales growth and pipeline by setting up qualified meetings for Account Executives

    Be a subject matter expert and evangelist of Baron Weather’s expansive list of solutions

    Produce creative strategies for targeting decision-makers at prospect accounts

Required Skills/Abilities: 

    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, or a related field

    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

    Strong time management and organization skills

    1-2 years of experience in a quota-carrying position preferred but not required

    Experience with outreach such as cold calling and emailing preferred but not required

    Previous experience using a CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce) preferred but not required

Education and Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field

Location:

    In-Office or Hybrid depending on experience.

Salary plus commission
