ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• To contribute to the development and implementation of our client's strategic direction in order to meet organisational objectives. This involves contributing to the business planning process to enable alignment of services to customer needs and the development of the training business in Cumbria and beyond.

• To analyse, interpret and report appropriate management information to the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Management Team to support the decision making process and optimise the SFA/EFA funded and commercial delivery programmes.

• To participate in the development of business plans which integrate financial and management information with appropriate targets.

• Manage all direct reports – ensuring they are directed in the most appropriate way in line with organisational objectives and timescales.

• Manage the activities of all direct reports to ensure overall leadership of customer focused training delivery services.

• To ensure the company complies with all statutory and legal regulations and funding requirements.

• Represent the organisation at various community and/or business meetings promoting existing and new programmes.

• Management of the operational budget including proposals for annual budget requirements and forecasting requirements.

• To satisfy all requirements of client’s quality standards including Ofsted, Matrix, ISO and ensure continuous improvement against inspection results and customer requirements.

• Expand client’s customer base by promoting apprenticeship programmes to the Cumbria SME community.

• To be responsible for ensuring that all health, safety and environment requirements.

• Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.

• Any other tasks as directed by the Chief Operating Officer.
