Job Title:   Technical Reviewer

Location: Canada, fully remote position

                     

About the role

We are recruiting for a Technical Reviewer, on a full-time basis and based remotely in Canada, to come and join and established and growing team. This an opportunity for someone who is interested in utilising their experience from industry in the Environmental or Occupational Health & Safety industries and taking it in a different direction! Responsibilities:

  • Conduct timely, high-quality technical reviews to support certification decisions in accordance with accreditation standards and internal guidelines.
  • Ensure all reviews align with departmental procedures, calibration guidance, and established quality benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with Regional Directors, Technical Managers, and Scheme Managers to maintain compliance with program-specific and accreditation body requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain required credentials, competencies, and mandatory certifications, including external training as applicable.
  • Investigate and resolve review holds, failures, or inconsistencies in line with BSI's technical review process.
  • Support the collection and analysis of review data and performance statistics for internal reporting and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide input to scheme or technical managers to support calibration activities and contribute to the continuous improvement of product-specific performance standards.

To be successful in the role, you will have

  • Worked in one or more of the following industries - Sustainability, Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety
  • Bachelors or Equivalent in related field
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • A Customer Focussed mindset

Travel: This a remote position which means there rarely any travel required, you will have frequent touch points with colleagues, your Manager online on a regular basis.
