The Product Manager, eLearning Applications will oversee the management and evolution of multiple learning technologies and platforms. This role is responsible for defining the product vision and roadmap, gathering and prioritizing business and technical requirements, and partnering with development, QA, marketing, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product enhancements and innovation.

The Product Manager must gain and maintain expert-level knowledge of the assigned applications and the business processes they support. They must understand both the product and customer needs in order to document clear, actionable requirements for the development teams to create new or enhanced software functionality.

This position requires strong business analysis competency, hands-on engagement throughout the software delivery life cycle (SDLC), and direct collaboration with a broad range of senior leaders, technical teams, and functional stakeholders across the organization, focusing on technical functionality, user experience, and ongoing improvement of BAI’s eLearning applications.

Responsibilities

Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on customer insights, competitive trends, and company objectives.
Gain and maintain expert-level knowledge of assigned applications and the customer business processes they support.
Conduct structured business analysis to gather and document functional, technical, and user experience requirements; create user stories, process flows, and wireframes to clearly communicate needs to development teams.
Facilitate business analysis workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
Actively participate in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies (planning, standups, reviews, retrospectives) throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.
Prioritize product features, enhancements, backlog items, and defect resolutions based on business value, customer impact, and risk.
Partner with Marketing and Sales to develop go-to-market plans and ensure internal teams are prepared for product launches and updates.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and application success metrics post-launch; provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Act as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries from Sales, Marketing, and Support teams.
Collaborate with design resources to create or review UI/UX mockups for major product changes, ensuring alignment with user needs.
Stay informed about innovations in eLearning technologies, SaaS trends, and customer preferences; recommend improvements as appropriate.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
3–5 years of experience managing SaaS, web-based, or technology products, preferably in the eLearning or financial services industries.
Experience with application programming concepts and database/application design fundamentals (technical knowledge, but not a developer role).
Proven ability to translate business needs into functional product requirements.
Experience with Agile product development processes and tools (e.g., JIRA, VersionOne, etc.).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present ideas clearly and effectively.
Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Customer-focused mindset with a passion for creating intuitive, impactful user experiences.
Experience working with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles.
Familiarity with compliance training, professional development, or the broader learning and development market a plus.

The salary range for this position is $77,000 - $120,000. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, job-related knowledge and market considerations.
