Job description

MCA, your trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security, is seeking an experienced Risk & Compliance Manager to support our growing Central team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: 
  • Develop, implement, and maintain MCA’s risk management and compliance frameworks.
  • Monitor and evaluate operational and strategic risks across departments.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, including FCC and specialty licensing requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local regulations, including regulatory requirements pertaining to Contractor licensing.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Legal and external partners to expand MCA’s intellectual property strategies.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to further develop MCA’s federal contracts compliance and associated reporting.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Lead the organization through key certifications and compliance initiatives.
  • Maintain and update business registrations, licenses, and vendor forms.
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, HR, and other departments to ensure integrated risk management.
  • Develop and maintain effective internal controls and compliance monitoring systems.
  • Train staff on compliance protocols and risk awareness.
  • Prepare and present risk and compliance reports to senior leadership.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Accounting, Risk Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in compliance management, auditing, or risk analysis.
  • Experience with contractor and/or specialty licensing.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, ISO).
  • Professional certifications such as CRMA, CCEP, or similar are a plus.
  • High ethical standards and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Awareness of potential regulatory breaches and ability to lead remediation efforts.
