Location: Onsite - Suwanee, GA (preferred), Roanoke, TX or Perris, CA


Travel: Up to 25% domestic travel to support 3PL audits, go-lives, and operational reviews



Overview:

Hisense USA is seeking a Corporate Inventory Control Manager to oversee inventory operations across multiple 3PL-managed warehouses. This role is responsible for ensuring inventory integrity, synchronization between SAP (ERP) and external Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and driving accountability with 3PL partners. The ideal candidate has deep experience with SAP, third-party logistics oversight, and strong expertise in inventory reconciliation and warehouse processes.

 


Duties/Responsibilities:

Inventory Governance

  • Manage inventory control programs across multiple 3PL warehouse locations
  • Own the reconciliation process between Hisense’s SAP ERP system and 3PL Warehouse Management Systems
  • Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions to resolve inventory variances
  • Ensure accurate and timely posting of inventory transactions in SAP

3PL Oversight & Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between Hisense and third-party logistics providers
  • Establish inventory accuracy targets and hold 3PLs accountable using KPIs and performance metrics
  • Lead weekly/monthly performance reviews, focusing on inventory integrity, shrinkage, and count accuracy
  • Conduct on-site visits and audits to ensure compliance and operational alignment

SAP & WMS System Reconciliation

  • Monitor and resolve integration issues between SAP and WMS systems (e.g., IDoc failures, transaction mismatches)
  • Partner with IT, logistics, and operations to maintain alignment of master data and transaction accuracy
  • Lead SAP vs. WMS inventory reconciliation initiatives, including inventory in transit, returns, and damage handling

Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain inventory health reports, cycle count compliance, aging inventory, and other KPIs
  • Support financial close with accurate inventory valuation and adjustment reporting
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation and lead internal/external inventory audits

Continuous Improvement & Leadership

  • Identify and implement inventory control process improvements across all warehouse operations
  • Participate in or lead special projects, including system upgrades, warehouse transitions, or new product launches
  • Mentor and support junior inventory control or logistics team members as needed

 


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field
  • 5–7 years of inventory control experience, including managing 3PL relationships
  • Strong proficiency with SAP ERP (MM/WM/IM modules)
  • Experience working with major WMS platforms (e.g., Manhattan, HighJump, Blue Yonder, or 3PL-native systems)
  • Solid understanding of inventory processes including cycle counts, FIFO, slotting, and reconciliation
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis)
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Occasional after-hours support during inventory events or system-related escalations

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in consumer electronics, appliances, or high-volume distribution environments
  • Background in managing inventory across multiple U.S. warehouse locations
  • Familiarity with EDI transactions, IDoc monitoring, and systems integration troubleshooting
  • Certification or training in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement
