Sr. Interface Developer

Remote

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sr. Interface Developer analyzes, designs, develops, tests, and implements new HL7 and other interoperability solutions; and maintains and optimizes already deployed Enterprise solutions.

Work Schedule: This is a Remote First role.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrates high-level technical skills and shows technical leadership
  • Designs and develops interface solutions according to specifications, adhering to all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle and the standard enterprise
  • Develops large enterprise solutions with minimal supervision.
  • Mentors less experienced developers.
  • Able to serve as a Technical Lead on cross-functional IT and business projects.
  • Collaborates with IT operations team and external vendors for network and security support.
  • Manages third party development vendors.
  • Manages time, priorities, and customer expectations across multiple projects.
  • Assists in defining, documenting, and developing software in collaboration with the project
  • Contributes to the review and analysis of business
  • Leads or contributes to the architecture and technical design discussions, code reviews and technical designs/specifications.
  • Creates thoughtful project documentation and technical
  • Documents test cases and executes tests to ensure quality interface solutions are
  • Assists in evaluating interface change requests, determines business needs or conducts root cause analysis, and implements technically efficient
  • Assesses the impact of interface changes and new development on other systems; conducts integration tests to mitigate risks.
  • Takes technical direction from senior team members and participates in a knowledge-sharing
  • Participates in agile team processes.
  • Partners with IT and Business teams and follows through with problem
  • Provides reasonable work estimates and communicates deviations from estimates or work product in advance of deadlines.
  • Develops, monitors, and tracks the progress of action
  • Supports production applications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 6+ years of IT experience in positions related to applications development and business process reengineering. Knowledge of network infrastructure, security, and authentication
    • Working experience with all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
    • Knowledge of technology stack preferred (Mirth, NextGen, JavaScript, T-SQL).
    • Knowledge of implementing and managing Privacy, Security
    • Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary
    • Keeps current on emerging technology and makes
    • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication
    • Ability to conduct research into technology-related issues and

    Education/Experience:

    • Associate degree from accredited College or University in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, or similar technology bootcamp; 6 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
