Job Overview
The Senior Manager, Business Continuity & Crisis Management, is a member of the Enterprise Risk & Security Management (ERSM) group within TE’s Law Department. The ERSM group is comprised of region-based and enterprise professionals who partner with businesses and functions to protect TE's people, productivity, and profitability around the world.
This role reports to and works closely with the Chief Risk Officer to develop, implement, train, and maintain TE’s business continuity and crisis management programs to minimize disruption to employees, customers, and operations.
The successful candidate has a detail focused, hands-on style and will be able to collaborate and thrive in a global environment while maintaining integrity, taking accountability, promoting teamwork and inclusion, and championing innovation.
Responsibilities
- Manage the development and maintenance of business continuity processes, ensuring that plans satisfy business, customer, legal, and regulatory requirements across the enterprise.
- Administer Business Impact Analyses, assisting in determining critical processes, recovery time, recovery point objectives, and resource requirements for a successful recovery in the event of a business disruption.
- Development and facilitation of business continuity training across TE related to planning, plan, maintenance, and execution.
- Manage TE’s corporate crisis program including the training of corporate and business crisis management teams.
- Manage business continuity metrics and the quality assessment program to ensure appropriate and consistent measuring, managing, and reporting risk.
- Provide project leadership between information technology and business continuity to provide a well-executed and integrated Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery program.
- Work with corporate, business, and functional leaders to enhance crisis management and business continuity plans.
- Serve as a Governance Team Member and provide intellectual leadership and active support to the organization’s governance team to ensure risks are made known to management.
- Ability to travel globally.

In addition, successful candidates will have the following qualifications, skills, and competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 10 years of experience in either one or more of these areas: business continuity management, crisis management, risk management or resilience.
- Risk Manager: Identifies, analyzes, and communicates risks to the organization.
- Creative Problem Solver: Aids competitiveness and adds value by enabling the organization to safely engage in business processes in higher risk situations. Be a positive change agent on behalf of organizational protection.
- Relationship Manager: Develops and nurtures trust-based relationships with business unit leaders, government officials and professional organizations. Acts as an internal consultant to all organizational clients.
- Subject Matter Expert: Provides or sees to the provision of technical expertise appropriate to knowledge of risk and cost-effective delivery.
- Strategic orientation with ability and willingness to act tactically, as required.
- Global perspective, multi-cultural understanding and approach.
- Understands principles of process management & TEOA.
Competencies
COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $145,000 – $195,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
