Your team

This role is part of our ServiceNow team, which manages and optimises our ServiceNow platform to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency across our global service offering, ServiceNow.

Your role in the Team's Success

Your primary responsibility will be to drive the product vision, manage the product backlog, and ensure the development team delivers high-quality features that meet customer needs and business objectives. The Product Owner will bridge stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

What you'll do
  • Define and articulate the product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the product vision and strategic priorities.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into actionable user stories, and plan sprints with the development team.
  • Write clear and concise user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria, ensuring the development team understands them.
  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring it aligns with the organization’s strategic direction and priorities.
  • Drive improvement initiatives, conduct market research, and track key performance metrics to enhance the product and identify growth opportunities.
What you'll need for this role

Key Qualification Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within IT service management or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product management principles.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience with backlog management tools (Jira)
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with market research and competitor analysis.
  • Beneficial; experience working with ServiceNow
