HealthCentral is seeking a strategic and analytical Performance Marketing Specialist to join our high-performing team. This role will be responsible for managing the execution and optimization of paid media campaigns across key channels. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience driving performance in digital marketing through thoughtful bidding strategies, audience segmentation, data-driven testing, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll play a critical role in maximizing ROI, scaling acquisition efforts, interpreting campaign data, and surfacing insights that drive incremental revenue and client success. Experience managing media vendors, analyzing platform performance, and staying ahead of industry trends is essential.

Position Overview

  • Own day-to-day performance across key paid media channels (Search, Social, Display, Native), ensuring campaign delivery, pacing, and optimization align with margin and performance goals
  • Execute and evolve bidding, budgeting, and targeting strategies to maximize efficiency, ROI, and client success
  • Develop testing frameworks to scale audience acquisition, increase on-site engagement, and support incremental revenue opportunities
  • Build and refine audience strategies using first- and third-party data; collaborate with Data, Creative, and Tech teams to align audience signals with campaign goals
  • Partner with Analytics and Technology teams to interpret data, generate insights, and develop actionable strategies to optimize traffic mix and margin contribution
  • Lead campaign reporting and performance analysis; synthesize learnings into clear strategic recommendations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Stay current on industry trends, ad platform updates, and emerging opportunities; proactively surface ideas and lead experimentation
  • Manage third-party media vendors, platforms, and data partners; evaluate new tools and partnerships to support scale and performance


Requirements


  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in paid media, ideally across multiple platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, DSPs, or Native ad platforms)
  • Experience optimizing campaigns toward both direct response and monetization goals (e.g., conversions, revenue per session, margin contribution)
  • Working knowledge of attribution and measurement frameworks; familiarity with platforms like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; able to manipulate datasets, build performance summaries, and support decision-making with data
  • Excellent communication skills—able to distill complex insights into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • A curious, test-and-learn mindset with a drive to continuously improve outcomes and explore new growth opportunities
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
