Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Product Management to lead our Data Platforms team, responsible for driving the strategy and development of our data Lakehouse, data services, data tooling, and data reliability initiatives. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product roadmap, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that meet the evolving needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the product strategy for Data Platforms, aligning with the company's overall vision and goals
  • Lead the Data Platforms product management team, providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching to product managers and engineers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, and business stakeholders to define product requirements and prioritize features
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competitor landscape, and customer needs to inform product decisions
  • Define and manage product roadmaps, including setting goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of products and features
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, engineers, and data scientists
  • Make data-driven decisions to inform product development and drive business outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data platforms and data engineering

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on data platforms, data engineering, or a related field
  • Proven track record of leading product teams and delivering successful products and features
  • Strong understanding of data platforms, data engineering, and data architecture
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and data Lakehouse technologies
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field


 

Annual Salary

$153,750.00 - $256,250.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
