The Head of Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) will design and manage a robust, secure, and scalable technology environment to power Genmab’s data-driven and AI-focused initiatives. This role is instrumental in ensuring resilient core IT operations across the enterprise, while partnering closely with a multitude of stakeholders to provide a seamless user experience and support innovation.

Key Responsibilities

       1.     Strategic Roadmap:

           •  Develop and implement the I&O strategy, in alignment with Genmab’s growth and the broader Data, Digital and AI function vision

           •  Proactively, champion infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, and operational excellence.

       2.     Infrastructure Management:

           •  Oversee global hybrid cloud infrastructure, data centers, and core enterprise systems.

           •  Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability for all mission-critical applications.

       3.     Operational Excellence:

           •  Drive automation and standardization in service delivery

           •  Implement robust incident management and disaster recovery processes, and embed cybersecurity and compliance into all infrastructure projects by partnering with the Security team to minimize risks.

·         Ensure infrastructure supports advanced analytics and AI workloads.

·         Deliver reliable , self-serve platforms for end-users across business functions.

       4.     Team Leadership:

           •  Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing I&O team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

           •  Attract and retain top talent in cloud engineering, systems administration, and core IT operations.

Qualifications

    •         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).

    •         12+ years of experience leading global IT infrastructure and operations teams, ideally in a highly regulated industry.

    •         Demonstrated success implementing cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise-scale IT operations.

    •         Strong communication and leadership skills, with a track record of building high-performing teams.

For US based candidates, the proposed salary band for this position is as follows:

$300,000---$350,000

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives.
