Job description

We're looking for a Senior Manager, Customer Program Director (CPD) to lead a team responsible for delivering excellence to our most strategic clients. In this key leadership role, you'll drive retention, customer satisfaction, operational performance, and commercial growth, while developing a high-performing CPD team.

What You’ll Own:

1. Operational & Customer Excellence

  • Ensure 100% business retention through consistent, high-quality service delivery

  • Strengthen client relationships—act as a trusted advisor and escalation point

  • Oversee program plans, KPIs, SOPs, and regular performance reviews across all accounts

  • Lead implementation of customer projects, system upgrades, and global standards

2. Commercial & Financial Growth

  • Monitor productivity and profitability (CCM) across accounts

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and performance improvements

  • Support value initiatives, renewals, and long-term account growth

3. People Leadership

  • Coach, develop, and inspire a team of CPDs to deliver excellence

  • Align team objectives with Maersk’s values, leadership behaviors, and customer-centric vision

  • Drive talent development, engagement, and succession planning

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Tech, and CX teams to elevate service delivery

  • Contribute to global program management strategies and continuous improvement

  • Represent customer needs in product and platform developments

You Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or customer program leadership

  • Proven track record of managing high-performing teams and key client relationships

  • Strong commercial acumen, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization

  • Fluent in English (German is a plus)
