(NYSE: TKO), a premium sports and entertainment company.The International tax manager, FIFA a hands-on finance position responsible for all tax activities within this On Location property. The position will report to the VP Finance - FIFA. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of international tax rules and regulations, corporate tax filings, and local tax filings.
This role will be responsible for the overall tax activities related to the On Location WC (FIFA) legal entities (US, Canada, & Mexico). The international tax manager will ensure adherence to local tax laws and international regulations, along with overseeing global tax compliance, and managing tax strategies. related to the production of accurate financial statements for the On Location Mexico entity within On Location. The International tax manager will perform varying tax analysis activities of a complex nature. The individual will identify value-added opportunities; including identifying opportunities that promote standardization, efficiency and making recommendations for overall team performance improvement, in order to better serve the businesses and senior management. The individual should demonstrate empathy, flexibility and agility in adapting to changing circumstances and priorities, as required.
Oversee all tax activities for the FIFA World Cup legal entities
Develop and formalize workpapers to support indirect tax returns
Interact with internal colleagues and external tax advisers to resolve notices and/or requests for information
Drive support gathering activities and preparation and filing of monthly indirect tax returns, including coordination of payment for indirect tax filings
Work with accounting to ensure accuracy of indirect tax accounts and indirect tax account reconciliations
Assist with income tax filings and requests for information from external advisers in a timely manner
File applicable property tax returns as needed
Stay up to date with indirect tax law changes
Assist with special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
Manage the daily process of electronic invoicing for Mexican customers
Assist with transfer pricing documentation and conclusions
Support in the development of SOX compliant controls and monitor appropriate execution of the controls
Support internal and external audit of financial processes and statements
Ensure all tax liabilities are recorded appropriately and reconciled
Coordinate with external auditors and manage statutory audits and SAT inspections
Monthly and ad hoc reporting
7+ years of progressive experience in international tax and 2+ years of management experience
Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting required
Masters in taxation preferred
Strong knowledge of Mexican, Canadian, and US tax laws and statutory audit requirements
Experience working with large multinational companies
