Qualified is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Revenue Accountant to join our growing Finance team. Our ideal candidate will have strong communication and organization skills, as well as a solid understanding of accounting functions. As a Revenue Accountant, you will support essential Accounting operations, including billing, cash collections, revenue reconciliation, month-end tasks, and other accounting needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with creating and maintaining customers, sales orders, revenue recognition, and invoicing schedule records in Netsuite per contract terms and ASC 606

  • Support with invoicing, including creating customer invoices, resolving any billing disputes, applying cash receipts

  • Maintain and review accounting receivable aging and assist with collections of invoices

  • Perform monthly close procedures - Prepare journal entries as needed, maintain and update accounting schedules, help reconcile bank and other GL accounts to ensure accuracy and validity to accounting transactions and company books and records

  • Contribute to the implementation of internal controls, streamlining accounting processes and creating best practices across the organization

  • Support regulatory and compliance filings and registrations including but not limited to federal and state taxes, sales taxes, and entity registrations and renewals

  • Assist with regular auditor requests for documentation

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

  • 1-2 years of accounting experience;

    • Start-up or SaaS experience a plus

  • Exceptional collaboration skills to work with internal teams and externally with customers

  • Keen attention to detail, self-organization, strong communication, highly analytical, and solid business judgment

  • Familiarity with Netsuite and Salesforce a plus

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and G Suite

  • Knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606 preferred
