Are you an experienced MOT Tester seeking a rewarding role that offers both professional growth and a supportive work environment? Look no further. A prestigious car dealership in Cramlington is currently looking for a dedicated MOT Tester to join their team.
This role provides a competitive salary of up to £35,000, complemented by a performance-based bonus scheme. Working Monday to Friday, this position offers a balanced work-life schedule, allowing for personal time and family commitments. The ideal candidate will possess a valid MOT Tester licence and have a proven track record in a similar role. Strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail are essential, ensuring that all vehicles meet the required safety and performance standards. Experience in a car dealership environment is highly desirable, as it will enable seamless integration into the team and a quick understanding of the dealership’s processes and standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting MOT tests in line with DVSA guidelines,
Diagnosing and rectifying faults, and providing exceptional customer service.
The ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of workmanship is crucial.
Excellent communication skills are also required, as the role involves liaising with customers and colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient service.

The current team is achieving a 20% bonus year on yea rand this role is only Monday to Friday.

Proven experience as a MOT Tester.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers and team members.
Technical knowledge to allow you to confidently and safely carry out repairs and maintenance of customer vehicles
Demonstrate capability and confidence in using systems and equipment within the workshop
Experience of working to productivity targets
Working as part of a team to achieve the best results for the customer
Qualified by experience in post or a minimum of Level 2 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
