The Accounts Payable Team Leader is responsible for all aspects of the Accounts Payable framework, processing of vendor invoices and making payments on time for the supply of goods and services. Ensuring expenses are allocated to correct accounts/cost centers. Reconciliations of vendors payments. Customer communication is both external and internal.

  • This position is located at 103 International Drive Peachtree City, GA with a hybrid schedule.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Embrace and support growing business demands in a changing environment
  • Participate in various projects and report analysis as requested
  • Awareness and compliance of Company Policies and Procedures
  • Provide excellent leadership to the Accounts Payable team members in accordance with Rinnai America's policies and culture.
  • Prompt posting of all vendor invoice vouchers
  • Verify all required signatures and documentation are on invoices before processing
  • Reconcile creditor’s statements
  • Coordinate check and wire payments, doing a check print at least weekly
  • Input of creditor’s data and invoices into computer
  • Make copies and coordinate with other team members for documentation of marketing and capital asset invoices
  • Reporting functions and participation in month-end close journal entries and analysis
  • Maintain A/P files of processed checks
  • Answer vendor inquiries
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2 Year Degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in corporate environment
  • Minimum 2 years Supervisor experience

 

SKILLS AND COMPENTENCIES

  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Proficiency with various Microsoft Office applications
  • Analytical, flexible, and able to adjust and learn new processes and procedures
  • ERP experience
  • Track all aspects of a project and ensure completion and follow-through
  • Multitask with competing priorities
  • Great verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers
  • Meet weekly and monthly deadlines.
  • Use standard office equipment such as copier, fax, and check printer
