Job description

Internet Testing Systems (ITS) is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our team! This is a remote opportunity, NO 3rd party resumes will be accepted.  Salary $120,000

The Technical Project Manager collaborates closely with team managers, project leads, developers, program managers, product managers, and internal stakeholders to effectively plan, direct, and execute project deliverables. They provide essential support to the Delivery Systems department, including test publishing and development teams, by coordinating internal activities to ensure projects are delivered promptly and meet organizational and client objectives. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong enthusiasm, meticulous planning capabilities, and exceptional communication skills. 


Technical Project Manager Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, document, and continuously improve project management processes for the test production content and development teams, as well as the item banking development team, including creating and managing project templates, checklists, and training resources. 
  • Facilitate project coordination for the development teams, ensuring timely completion and alignment with company and client goals: 
  • Oversee DevOps methodologies, including defining timelines, driving project progression, managing sprint planning sessions, conducting daily stand-ups, and facilitating retrospectives. 
  • Track daily project progress and swiftly escalate any arising issues. 
  • Analyze project dependencies to optimize scheduling and resource allocation. 
  • Maintain detailed project schedules, coordinate and facilitate meetings, and ensure documentation accuracy. 
  • Act as a liaison between integration and implementation teams to guarantee smooth project execution. 
  • Proactively identify potential bottlenecks and anticipate future challenges. 
  • Manage incoming bug reports, effectively prioritizing client requirements communicated through Support and Product teams, addressing developer challenges, reproducing issues as necessary, and ensuring their timely resolution. 
  • Coordinate and prioritize development activities by understanding developers' skills, preferences (e.g., bugs, features, refactoring), and preferred communication styles. 
  • Support accessibility initiatives by maintaining current knowledge of best practices, and ensuring development processes align to industry standards.  
  • Contribute to AI initiatives through research, demo setups, and overseeing the management of non-technical tasks. 
  • Coordinate deployment schedules, preparing detailed technical notes for system patches and maintenance announcements.
