Position Overview
We are seeking expert freelance translators, proficient in translating from English to Chuukese. As part of our extended team, you'll translate a variety of document-types, ensuring accuracy, cultural relevance, and adherence to client-specific guidelines. This role is remote, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to impactful projects across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate written content from English to Chuukese with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
  • Maintain the tone, style, and meaning of the original text while ensuring compliance with client-specific guidelines.
  • Conduct research to utilize correct terminology, particularly in specialized fields (e.g., healthcare, legal, technical).

Requirements
  • Proficiency in Chuukese and strong command of English.
  • Translation degree
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional translation experience is required.
  • Medical healthcare experience is a MUST.
  • Excellent writing skills with attention to detail and cultural nuances.
  • Proficiency with translation software (e.g., MemoQ, Phrase, Wordbee) is preferred.
