Collette is seeking Air Reservations Specialists to join our Air Team.  This is a hybrid position for candidates local to our Headquarters in Pawtucket, RI. Remote candidates will also be considered.

Job Summary:

The Air Reservations Specialist will be a dedicated, customer-oriented professional.  In this role, you will be responsible for delivering tailored air travel solutions while providing exceptional customer service and expert, consultative guidance on itinerary options.

 

Primary Functions:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to incoming customer calls.
  • Utilize Global Distribution Systems (GDS) to accurately quote fares and efficiently book air travel in response to customer requests.
  • Follow up on unresolved matters and communicate resolutions from travelers and Travel Agents in a timely manner.
  • Support tasks such as, but not limited to, running reports, air notations, seat assignments, schedule changes, during non-peak periods.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor. 
  • Minimal participation for pre-scheduled holidays.
  • Be available for occasional travel to the home office to participate in training sessions and team development activities.
  • Engage in ongoing training and development initiatives to continuously enhance customer service skills and stay current with industry best practices.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and neat work environment at all times.
  • Compliance to DOT rules and Airline Regulations.

 

Knowledge and Skills:  

  • Proven excellence in customer service.
  • Familiarity with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Sabre, Amadeus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a diverse and inclusive environment.
  • Demonstrate openness to constructive feedback and actively apply it to support personal growth and ongoing professional development.
  • Ability to adhere to in-house work guidelines and protocols specific to local employees.
  • Comply with all company rules and regulations.

 

Pay Range: $23.00 - $26.00 USD
