Onsite Software Development Manager

CAPITAL Services is looking for an innovative and strategic leader to drive technical results within our Software Development team. As our Software Development Manager you will embody and promote a culture that embraces CAPITAL’s mission, vision, and values. In this role, you’ll get the opportunity to lead and coach in traditional software development, while also driving data development strategies to mature and standardize how we support data-driven decisions. 

Your focus as our Software Development Manager: 

• Develop and maintain strategic plans to meet department and company goals.
• Develop, articulate, and execute on strategic company initiatives. 
• Mentor and coach staff while building successful teams. 
• Manage multiple priorities while identifying and recommending technical enhancements. 
• Continuously learn about new technologies and methodologies to advance processes.  
• Be an ambassador for data while driving our data governance vision forward.  

Our Software Development Manager will have: 

• 5 years of related technical leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Technical knowledge in data development and software development.
• Experience in technical strategy development.
• Previous success in developing staff and teams. 
• Ability to successfully communicate with stakeholders, peers, and management.

You’ll stand out if you have:

• Experience in Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Python, and/or SQL Server Analysis Services. 
• Experience in implementing CI/CD processes.
