The Admissions and Marketing Officer maintains open and productive\nchannels of communication with the St. Constantine International School (SCIS)\ncommunity and non-SCIS community, in line with the school’s philosophy. The\nAdmissions and Marketing Officer ensures a smooth admissions process for\nprospective families. They also contribute to the marketing of the school by\nunderstanding and communicating the educational merits of the school through\nrelevant publications and various forms, including via the school’s social\nmedia. The Admissions and Marketing Officer is also responsible for the\nmarketing, advertising and public relations of the school. This also includes\nbeing responsible and organizing regular promotional events, and the logistics of visitors\nvisiting SCIS.
Job Description:
The Admissions and Marketing\nOfficer is expected to:
● Promote and\ncontribute to the school's aims (mission, vision, values, policies).
● Promote a\npositive school culture which is happy, purposeful and productive.
● Maintain a\npleasant, cooperative public relationship with the school community.
● Increase student numbers.
● Retain students.
● Create strategies that are\nboth measurable and budgeted.
● Assist and support staff\nwhenever possible.
● Undertake such other duties\nas may be reasonably required.
Responsibilities:
The Admissions and Marketing\nOfficer will:
Admissions
● Actively pursue students by\nlooking into various opportunities.
● Create,\nimplement, coordinate and be responsible for the school’s retention strategy.
● Publicise\nand promote the school’s educational programmes and general offering.
● Coordinate\nthe admissions process, working alongside the Primary and Secondary Assistant.\n
● Ensure the Primary and Secondary Assistant keeps an up to date\nrecord of students in the school utilizing the\nschool management system.
● Ensure the\nPrimary and Secondary Assistant follows the Admissions Policy thoroughly.
● Ensure that\nthe Primary and Secondary Assistant informs the Headteacher when a student is\nadmitted to school.
● Oversee school tours for\nprospective students and parents.
Marketing
● Be the first point of contact\nfor SCIS’ Marketing Team.
● Create, implement, coordinate and be responsible for the\nmarketing, branding and advertising of SCIS, in liaison with SCIS’\nMarketing Team.
● Create, implement, coordinate and be responsible for the\nschool’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIN, Website and\nothers) and identify other opportunities, in liaison with SCIS’ Marketing Team.

● Work with the SCIS team, in creating a bank of information about\nthe school including photographs/images that can be used in support of\narticles, publications and on the website.
Other
● Be responsible for the\naesthetics of SCIS and promote different ideas.
● Attend training courses (e.g.\nCOBIS) as required.
● Oversee Social events as\nrequired and directed by the Headteacher.
● Oversee external visitors as\nrequired and directed by the Headteacher.
Experience:
● Knowledge of Arusha is\nessential.
● Knowledge of Tanzania is\ndesirable.
● Minimum 2 years of public\nrelations experience desirable.
● Previous related experience\nwithin education would be an asset.
