Position: Social Media Manager
Number of hours: 40 hours/week
Schedule: Canada (EST) Time Zone
Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement, visibility, and leads across key platforms (YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram).
Create a monthly content calendar aligned with company goals and service offerings, particularly in consulting and educational outreach.
Repurpose blog content into engaging videos with clear narratives and visual storytelling.
Edit and produce high-quality educational video and audio content (3-7 mins of educational content), ensuring clarity, brand consistency, and audience appeal.
Build and nurture communities by interacting with followers, responding to comments, and fostering discussions around consulting and cybersecurity topics.
Track platform analytics to understand audience behavior and optimize future content.
Represent the brand’s voice and values authentically across platforms.
Collaborate closely with internal consultants and subject matter experts to translate technical topics (e.g., cybersecurity) into digestible content.
Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
Knowledge or background in cybersecurity is a strong plus.
Experience working in consulting or service-based environments is preferred.
Strong skills in video and audio editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
Experience in managing YouTube and LinkedIn content; TikTok and Instagram experience is a plus.
Ability to create visually compelling and educational content.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple platforms and content formats.
Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Audition, Photoshop)
Canva, CapCut, or similar for mobile/social edits
Scheduling tools (Buffer, Later, Hootsuite)
