Role Summary 

The Consultant role will see you taking responsibility for driving out client business requirements, sponsoring development gaps through the estimating and development phase and supporting the client with UAT through to go-live. You will lead on exploring configuration options to suit specific client requirements, taking into consideration the business strategic direction.  

 

What you will be doing 

  • Work as a Consultant on new client implementations and change requests, from requirements gathering through to post-implementation support. 

  • Capture client requirements to cover financial product configuration and collections and servicing activity. 

  • Conduct gap analysis of systems and processes and sponsor the gap requirement through the software development cycle. 

  • Work alongside the product teams to ensure functional change is reflected accurately in the detailed specifications and development. 

  • Configure test and production environments according to client requirements. 

  • Work alongside the client test teams during system, regression, and acceptance testing. 

  • Support the Account Managers and the Service Desk once clients are in BAU. 

 

What we are looking for from you

  • Adept at solving problems and possess strong analytical skills. 

  • Experience of business or system analysis, problem resolution and service delivery. 

  • Understanding of the finance/lending sector and the role IT systems play within it in managing financial products, calculations, customer and agreement servicing, payments, and default processing. 

  • Understanding of the UK mortgages market. 

  • Understanding of the Consumer Credit Act and associated regulations, DPA and GDPR regulations and FCA guidelines. 

  • Basic SQL skills for analysis of the database and resolution of issues
