DFM Development Services is an established consulting firm based out of Reston, VA that caters to the real estate development industry. We provide a variety of Development Support Services (red tape related items) to local and national real estate developers, corporations, and other real estate owners on projects throughout the Metro DC area.

Responsibilities:
Help lead DFM's Environmental Compliance Consulting Department by:
coordinating and overseeing inspectors and project managers; initially with support of the Director, but eventually independently
ensuring timely completion of high-quality work products, including coordinating with our PE to obtain appropriate seals
products to initially be reviewed by Director; but eventually to be delivered to clients independently
managing client's expectations at all times and delivering top notch customer service
Assume responsibility for tracking Stormwater Management facility inspections and Stormwater as-built certifications; initially in conjunction with Director, but eventually independently.
Learn Salesforce sufficiently to prepare and submit SWM facility inspection and SWM as-built certification proposals and complete targeted marketing campaigns.
Learn other existing EC Department work and support emerging EC opportunities, in conjunction with Director.
Participate in BD activities to actively help grow the department including locating additional niche services for us to offer to the industry.
Develop knowledge and have ambition to ultimately become Director of Environmental Compliance Department in approximately 3 years.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of various stormwater management facility types.
Ability to organize information to run inspection and certification programs.
Attention to detail and a commitment to consistent quality control.
Bachelor's degree in environmental or other relevant natural science with 5 or more years of proven construction/land development, stormwater, or related environmental compliance experience
Knowledge with the following programs is preferred: Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, and Salesforce, Revu Bluebeam
Preferred certifications:
Virginia DEQ Stormwater Management Inspector
Plan Reviewer
